Positive Thinking Skills

For students in year 4

The Positive Thinking Skills program focuses on emotional competence and cognitive skills. The students learn to identify feelings and 'body clues' in themselves and in others. The program also increases awareness of the relationship between feelings and thoughts, and helps students understand that the way they think about something affects the way feel. Students learn strategies to cope with fears, how to relax and think rationally about situations. These skills enable children to be resilient and feel good about themselves.

This program is included in our Workshop for Primary Schools, and for a limited time, you can book a workshop that focusses on the Positive Thinking Skills program only.

These courses are held at Curtin University, Bentley campus.
